I was born and raised in New Jersey in a town called Millville. Fishing has always been in my blood being I grew up on the banks of the Maurice River. My grand pop Gary Montana was the one who introduced me to bass fishing at a young age and I instantly encountered a huge passion for the sport. I started out my career fishing club levels, team, and federations. After having success with those types of tournaments I decided to move on to the next level of fishing and I signed up for the Bassmaster Opens.
Figuring that I would try my skill and determination at a pro level I did exceptionally well my first year, qualifying for the Bassmaster Elites. After contemplating such a life changing decision I ended up turning my invite to the Elite Series down figuring I was not quite ready for the next leap in my fishing career. Now that it has been a few years fishing the Bassmaster Opens tour I can say that I have definitely been able to sharpen my skills and knowledge of this sport. I am now ready to take on the next level of my career and I hope to requalify for the Bassmaster Elites and take my talent to the top of professional fishing.
